I bring everything to your dance school

All you need to do is show up ready to dance and we spend 15 minutes together creating something beautiful.
I'll guide you through classic ballet poses that show off your lines—arabesque, passé, attitude, beautiful port de bras. We'll work through different angles, try various expressions, and capture both the technical precision and the joy of what you do.
You're never left guessing. I'm there the whole time, gently directing, encouraging, making small tweaks to help you look your absolute best. If something's not working, we adjust. If something's gorgeous, we do more of it. It's collaborative and supportive, never stressful.
The timing is perfect, long enough to get real variety and let you settle in, short enough that you stay fresh. You won't feel tired or over it. You'll leave feeling energised and excited about what we've created.

About Me
I'm Colette, a photographer based in Ireland with a deep love for all things dance.
I've been photographing dancers for over 10 years, but honestly, this work feels less like a job and more like celebrating something I truly understand. I'm a mum to dancers, so I know the early Saturday mornings, the endless hairpins, and the quiet pride when they finally nail that tricky combination. And I take adult ballet classes myself - because once dance gets in your blood, it never really leaves.
That's why I photograph the way I do. I know what goes into every arabesque, every leap, every moment of focus.

01. When You Book
Once you've chosen your session time and paid your €75 session fee, you'll receive a confirmation email with all the details - time, location, and a style guide with outfit inspiration and tips to help you prepare. No stress, just everything you need to feel ready.
02. YOUR SESSION
I'll arrive at your dance school and set up a full professional studio - backdrop, lighting, everything. When it's your turn, we'll spend 15 minutes together in a relaxed, encouraging space. We'll have a chat first to help you settle in, then I'll guide you through poses that showcase your technique and personality.
03. After Your Session
The hard part? Waiting! Within 7–10 days, you'll receive an email with access to your private, password-protected gallery. You can browse from the comfort of home, share with family, and take your time choosing your 3 favourite images.
04. Choosing Your Images
Your session includes 3 fully edited digital images . Browse your gallery, pick your favourites, and download them. If you'd like to add extra digitals or any of the print packages, you can do that directly through your gallery or let me know.
05. Print Orders
If you've ordered prints or frames, these are professionally produced and typically arrive within 2–3 weeks. They'll be delivered right to your door, ready to display or gift.
06. Enjoy Your Images
Your digital images come with full print release, so you can print them as many times as you'd like, share them freely, and treasure them forever. These aren't just photos for right now, they're keepsakes that capture this chapter of your dance journey to look back on for years to come.
FAQ
What should we wear?
Whatever makes you feel most like yourself as a dancer! Class leotards, tutus, character shoes - bring your favourites. I'll send you a detailed style guide once you book with outfit inspiration and tips, but the key is wearing something you feel confident and comfortable in.
How many photos will we see in the gallery?
Your gallery will include approximately 5 - 15 images for you to view, depending on the session. You'll choose your 3 favourites (included in your session fee), and you can purchase any additional images you love for €25 each or 5 for €100.
When will we receive our gallery?
Your private online gallery will be ready within 7–10 days of your session. You'll receive an email with access details and can browse, share, and choose your favourites at your own pace.
What's your photography style?
Clean, natural, and timeless. I photograph on seamless backdrops so the focus stays entirely on the dancer - your lines, expression, and movement. Nothing fussy or overdone, just beautiful images that let your dancing speak for itself.
What if we can't make our session time?
Because these are group session days with multiple dancers scheduled, I'm unable to offer rescheduling or refunds. Please make sure your chosen time works before booking.
How do we pay?
Your €75 session fee is paid when you book to secure your spot. Any print packages or additional images can be paid for through your online gallery after your session, or on the day if you've pre-ordered.
Can we order more prints later?
Absolutely! Your gallery stays active, so you can order prints, frames, or extra digitals whenever you'd like - even months or years later.
Do we get all the photos from the session?
Your session includes 3 fully edited digital images of your choice from your gallery. Additional images are available to purchase (€25 each or 5 for €100). I carefully edit and select the best images for your gallery, so you're seeing only the strongest shots.
What if my child is nervous or shy?
That's completely normal! I'm used to working with dancers of all confidence levels. We'll start with a relaxed chat to help them feel comfortable, and I'll guide them gently through the whole process. My sessions are encouraging and supportive - never stressful or rushed.
Can siblings or friends be photographed together?
These sessions are designed for individual portraits to really showcase each dancer. If you'd like group shots or sibling photos, let me know and we can discuss options.
